Alright, so the title may be a little misleading, but I have to admit I was not moved when I first heard the new song from Kent Jones. He had me with "Don't Mind", which came with a new style and different flavor and, in some ways, inspired the new island sound that is being used now by Drake, Tory Lanez, Rihanna, Jidenna and others.

The new single is called "Alright" and takes from Earth, Wind and Fire's "Let's Groove". This was the jam back in the day, and still is a classic that you can drop on the radio or at any party and the floor will get packed. It's not a lot of people who can do a remake of any sort, but I will say that Kent did a pretty decent job. I have to stop comparing remakes to the original, as those will always be top priority.
