Kevin Gates Headlining Birthday Bash in Lafayette, Louisiana
LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA - One of the biggest hip-hop concerts of the year is coming back to Lafayette this fall. That's right! Our friends over at HOT 107.9 are bringing back their BIRTHDAY BASH on October 16th, and Kevin Gates is headlining a MASSIVE concert lineup.
Joining Kevin Gates on stage will be Bun B, Rob49, Slim Thug, Mouse & Level, and Wochee. The event will also be hosted by DJ Sexy Lex, one of the original personalities from Hot 107.9.

Full Entertainment Lineup for Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash
Kevin Gates, who was born and raised in Baton Rouge, has become one of Louisiana's biggest music stars. He has built a great music career and has become known for speaking openly about personal growth, mental health, and life experiences. Some of his songs include "2 Phones," "Really Really," "Satellites," "I Don't Get Tired," and many others.
The Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash also features several well-known southern hip-hop artists. Bun B, one-half of the legendary UGK duo, will make his first Lafayette performance in nearly 30 years. New Orleans rapper Rob49 continues to be one of the hottest rising stars in rap, while Houston's Slim Thug brings years of hit songs to the stage.
Louisiana artists Mouse & Level will also perform. The duo has created some of the state's biggest party songs over the years. Carencro native Wochee will round out the lineup.

Birthday Bash 23 will take place on Friday, October 16, 2026, at the CAJUNDOME in Lafayette. The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. and will feature a star-studded lineup led by Kevin Gates.

Tickets are expected to sell quickly, especially with prices staying affordable. No ticket will cost more than $100. The Artist Presale begins on Wednesday, July 29, at 10:00 a.m. The Venue Presale starts on Thursday, July 30, at 10:00 a.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 31, at 10:00 a.m.
