Being a fan of music from hip hop to r&b and even top 40, Gospel and some country. I always go back to the essence of hip hop.  I came up with alot of artist who really brought their "A" game when it came to music. Some of the most prolific rappers were Tupac Shakur, Mos Def, Brand Nubians, Public Enemy and many more who made you think when they were rhyming.

When it came to the south. I was an avid fan of Goodie Mob, Big K.R.I.T and others. One of those is Killa Kyleon, he initially started from his affiliation with Slim Thug. He has always been a very lyrical guy when it came to creating music for the slabs and swangas. But this new album is something that a lot of his fans may not have expected. I remember going to Memphis for my anniversary with my wife and we took a trip to the often talked about Lorraine Motel. I truly believe if you have a heart at all, when you leave out of there you are a different person.

Killa just dropped his latest release called "Lorraine Motel" the album touches on alot of things going on in the world and shows what I feel is the real Killa. It displays a side of him which I have never seen and shows that he is ready to tackle whatever the issues are and whoever brings them. If you don't have his latest, make sure you download it today. It will be an investment worth the dollar and you will not be disappointed. Check out the latest interview that he just did with GMT Radio in Houston.
