It’s not a good look for the New York Knicks right now, especially given the teams up-hill battle to put points on the board this season.   According to reports the 29-year old point guard turned himself in to authorities at the 20th precinct in Manhattan early this morning (February 25).  Upon his arrival the eight-year NBA vet, who’s is in his second stint with the Knicks, was hand cuffed.  Felton was then arrested and charged with felony counts of second and third-degree criminal possession of a firearm and a misdemeanor count of fourth-degree possession.

Sources say, his estranged wife's lawyer brought his Belgian 28-mm pistol to police, because his client was uncomfortable that the handgun was being kept in their home, telling the Daily News, "She had knowledge that the gun was there.  She said she didn't want the gun there anymore."

Ariane Raymondo-Felton recently filed for divorce from her husband after just 19 months of being married.  Speaking of which, Felton sat down with the Daily News last week and said that he wasn't letting the reported divorce affect his game, however many feel it has. Yet, here's what Felton had to say anyway,  “It’s your life.  When you’re going through certain things in life it’s on your mind, no matter what. You try not to let it come into your job, into your workplace, but sometimes it does.  You’re human and it’s a part of life. But at the same time, it is what it is. That’s my personal life, though; I don’t want to discuss that part.”

In other news in case you haven’t heard, amid rumors of infidelity, singer Robin Thicke and his wife, actress Paula Patton are calling it quits after eight years of marriage.  It’s no secret that last year, the singer was accused of cheating after a photo of him groping a female fan circulated online.  At the time Paula dismissed the incident, saying she was with him.  However earlier this year, more rumors of Thicke’s infidelity spread when he was seen getting intimate with a un-named woman on a dance floor in Paris.

The couple surprised fans with the news telling PEOPLE  Magazine in an exclusive statement yesterday.  “We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time.”

Ironically, Robin sat down with Elle Magazine just last year and spoke about how much in love they were and how his wife she’s inspired many of his songs. Thicke told Elle spice isn’t an issue for him and Paula adding,

“We’re over spiced.  We could probably take a few spices off the shelf.”  Surprisingly the singer did reveal everything wasn't perfect saying,  “We both have unpredictable careers.  We work in sensitive fields where people are talking about your height, your weight, your skin color, your talent, your Twitter followers.  A lot of times, a fight is because you didn’t like the way the other person responded.  You didn’t have time to help them properly.  There are so many little things you can fight about when you’re in love.”

Finally, rapper Twista is mourning the loss of his security guard and close friend Davy Easterling.   The Chicago Tribune reports Easterling was found brutally shot to death and badly burned in an apartment on the city’s South Side last Friday.  The Chicago Fire Department’s Office of Fire Investigations determined that the fire was incendiary(in-cen-der-ree), which means that it was started by a person and not natural causes.

Prior to news of his friends murder, the rapper actually posted a note on his social media page telling his followers that Easterling was missing and he was worried.

“A close friend of mine has been missing for the past 48 hrs, his name is 6’9 he does security work for us.  If you have any information on where he is please call 888-679-9611.  We are all worried and pray for his safe return.”

Sadly his friend is never coming home and Twista is devastated by the news, telling followers on his instagram page,  “#RIP Davy Easterling aka 6’9 I have lost too many good friends to these streets.”
