Kylie Jenner Addresses Travis Scott Breakup, Denies “2am Date With Tyga”
Kylie Jenner is not here for internet gossip.
On Thursday morning (Oct. 3), just two days after it was reported that she and Travis Scott had broken up, Jenner used her Twitter account to shoot down extraneous rumors about what caused the split and what's happened after it.
"Travis and i are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi ‼️," she wrote in one tweet. "Our friendship and our daughter is priority."
In another tweet, Jenner shot down reports that she'd visited her ex-boyfriend Tyga at 2 a.m. in the morning this week. "The internet makes everything 100 times more dramatic than what it really is," she wrote. "There was no “2am date with Tyga”. You see me drop two of my friends off at a studio that he happened to be at."
Jenner and Scott reportedly broke up a few weeks ago, though the exact cause of the split isn't confirmed. According to an unnamed source from Peoplemagazine, the split was trust issues along with not being on the same page about expanding their family.
“There were several issues that made them decide to take a break,” the source said. “Kylie is all about family life and really wants a second baby.”
Rumors of her romance with Scott began to spread in the spring of 2017, and less than a year later in February 2018, Jenner gave birth to their daughter Stormi.
Scott, who toured the U.S. in support of his Astroworld album last year, has yet to respond to reports of a split.
