Beware, Slider Thieves Are Robbing Cars — And They’re Getting Closer to Lake Charles [VIDEO]

This video was taken in Houston so they are getting close. They are called "sliders" because while you are putting gas in your car they park at the next set of gas pumps and the thief slides to your passenger side opens the door and steals your purse and is gone in a flash. They stay low so you can't see them from where you are. Police say they also have hit at daycare parking lots while parents pick up their kids. Be sure you door is locked and you have your purse with you.
