With the 2024 Presidential Election just around the corner now is the time for all registered voters to make sure they handle any voter registration business. If you have moved, you must ensure your new address is reflected on your registration.

If you need to request a mail-in ballot, change parties, questions about your voter status, etc. take care of these things before the deadline (dates and deadlines below) so that you can vote in the upcoming Presidential Election.

2024 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION VOTING DATES AND DEADLINES

• The deadline to register to vote in person/by mail/OMV Office is October 7.
• The deadline to register to vote in the Online Registration System is October 15.
• Early voting is October 18-29 (excluding Sunday, October 20 and Sunday, October 27) from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
• The deadline to request an absentee ballot is November 1 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters). You can request an absentee ballot online through our Voter Portal or in writing through your Registrar of Voters Office.
• The deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted absentee ballot is November 4 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).

PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION DAY - NOVEMBER 5, 2024

• On election day, the polls are open from 6 a.m.-8 p.m.

CONGRESSIONAL GENERAL ELECTION VOTING DATES AND DEADLINE

• The deadline to register to vote in person/by mail/OMV Office is November 6.
• The deadline to register to vote Online Registration System is November 16.
• Early voting is November 22-30 (excluding Sunday, November 24 and Thursday, November 28) from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
• The deadline to request an absentee ballot is December 3 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters). You can request an absentee ballot online through our Voter Portal or in writing through your Registrar of Voters Office.
• The deadline for a registrar of voters to receive a voted absentee ballot is December 6 by 4:30 p.m. (other than military and overseas voters).

CONGRESSIONAL ELECTION DAY - SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2024 

On election day, the polls are open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
