Since the announcement of Lauryn Hill's The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary Tour, the trek has experienced a number of issues. Originally set to include guest appearances from A$AP Rocky, Busta Rhymes, Big Boi, Dave East and more, the tour was hit with a string of canceled dates and now, Nas and Santigold have reportedly been dropped from the lineup.

Ms. Hill was set to perform on Sept. 12 in Portland with Nas and Santigold but the artists were dropped from the show without any advance notice. While Hill or her team has yet to explain the reason for taking the artists off her tour, Santigold later revealed that she wouldn't be appearing at the Sept. 15, Sept. 22 and Sept. 26 shows.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch also reported that Nas will not be appearing at the Oct. 5 show in St. Louis at the Chaifetz Arena. The New York rapper is also scheduled to appear with Hill on Oct. 3 in New Orleans, although it's uncertain if that will still be happening. Nas also wrote on Twitter that he will be joining Hill in New Zealand in February 2019.

Santigold apologized on Twitter to her fans for not being at the Sept. 12 show and said she was upset with the way Hill and her team handled it. "I’m sorry you paid to see us and we’re not there. That really bums me out. I’m also bummed that @MsLaurynHill and crew didn’t tell ppl why we’re not there. She took us off the bill," she tweeted.

The artist also claimed that Hill's management team told her production issues forced them to take her off the bill. "Note I saw from @MsLaurynHill Mgmt team read... 'Due to production issues, The Miseducation 20th Anniversary Tour is unable to accommodate Santigold’s performance this evening,'" she added.

This is just the latest controversy Hill has found herself in, after musician Robert Glasper accused the New Jersey rapper of stealing music for her debut album. Ms. Hill eventually shot down the claims in a piece penned for Medium, writing, "You may be able to make suggestions, but you can’t write FOR me. I am the architect of my creative expression. No decisions are made without me."
