Lil Flip Realesed and Put Arresting Officers On Blast

As previously, 31-year Wesley Eric Weston best known as rapper Lil Flip was arrested earlier this week after a traffic stop turned drugs and a gun.

Flip was pulled over in his 2010 Dodge Challenger for going 86 in a 75 mile-per-hour speed zone.  According to police reports, they found a Bushmaster AR-15 assault rifle in the trunk and a small amount of marijuana.  Flip and his passenger, Olanza Sanders, where both arrested with the rapper being charged with a variety of offenses, including speeding, third-offense possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.

Lil Flip was finally able to post bond for $35,000 Thursday afternoon and was released from the DeSoto Detention Center in Mansfield.  The H-Town rapper didn't waste any time connecting to his fans and jumped on Twitter to set the record straight.  Flip sent the following tweet and blasted the arresting officer.

“#FRESHOUT???? GOOGLE OFFICER#9845 DENNIS, BUCKINGHAM IN MANSFIELD ,LOUISIANA I HAVE A GUN LICENSE..????” Lil Flip tweeted. “AND BLACK N MILD GUTS AIN’T GANJA???? ME SAVAGE BEEN OUT SINCE YESTER DAY…IF MY GUN WAS A PROBLEM WHY IS IT STILL IN MY TRUNK.. IT’S ALL GOOD.”
