Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" may have already broken several Billboard records, but now the song is starting to change lives.

Earlier this week (June 4), Sheletta Brundidge tweeted about her autistic son Daniel's miraculous breakthrough. According to Brundidge, Daniel, who doesn't speak due to his condition, began humming the tune to Billy Ray Cyrus' remix of the top-charting hit. Later on, she caught him singing the words on his own and had to record it. Brundidge posted the video to Twitter, and it instantly caught everyone's attention -- especially the cowboy himself.

"What a king," Nas X replied in a quoted retweet of the video.

Later on in her Twitter thread, Brundidge described how the song has literally changed her son's life. She explained that Daniel hasn't been able to piece together words into a sentence since birth. Eventually, Lil Nas X saw the video and he was clearly flattered.

"We had an #oldtownroad miracle at my house. My son Daniel has #autism and doesn't talk. We caught him humming the @LilNasX and @billyraycyrus tune the other day. Then Bless God, my baby started singing the song on his own. His therapists have started to use it in his sessions!"

Children everywhere have fallen in love with Lil Nas X's hit, including celebrity kids like North West and Consequence's son Caiden. Caiden went above and beyond to drop his own remix of "Old Town Road" with bars that would leave Kidz Bop rappers in the dust.
