Fans attending Lil Baby's show in Philadelphia on Saturday night (Jan. 26), were treated to a surprise performance from the "retired" Lil Uzi Vert. The Philly rapper has a message for supporters who think it is a sign that he will be returning to the mic. Don't get your hopes up.

Lil Baby's show in the City of Brotherly Love looked lit, judging by the video shared by Quality Control (below). Things turned up even more when Uzi hopped on stage and gave a spirited performance of "XO Tour Liif3." Afterward, however, he set the record straight for anyone who believed the set meant he'd caught the music bug again.

"Still retired only come out for the guys," he wrote on his Instagram Story, to the dismay of his fans.

Uzi's struggles with his record label came to a head earlier this month when he announced he was giving up music altogether.

“I wanna take the time out to say I thank each and every one of my supporters but I’m done with music,” a clearly-frustrated Uzi wrote on his Instagram Story. “I deleted everything. I wanna be normal … I wanna wake up in 2013.”

Since then, he has talked about missing the studio.
