LL Cool J’s Wife Simone Launches New Jewelry Line

The name Simone Smith may not be a familiar name to you, but she is married to one of the most popular hip hop artist in the industry.

LL Cool J's wife is jumping into the jewelry business with the launch of her own line, named Simone I Smith (SIS). The Simone I Smith line consists of high end earrings and is influenced by her Hip-Hop upbringing.  "I was 17-years-old when we met and I'll always remember the day that he bought me those earrings," Simone Smith said. "I'm definitely a 'hoop' girl. I've also been known to wear a pair of funky hoops on the red carpet, with a to-the-floor gown." Simone, who battled a rare form of bone cancer over the past several years, said that she would be expanding the line to include bangles, cuffs, necklaces and rings. "My husband and my children definitely keep me feeling inspired and motivated," Simone said. "I'm excited about making my brand a reality." "She's been home with the kids for years, so it was time for me to say, 'I wanna support what you're doing,'" LL Cool J told The Talk during an appearance yesterday (February 14th).
