Talk about trying to cash in . Superstar Australian rapper Iggy Azalea is really going through it.  Her ex-boo’s been trying to get his 15 minutes of fame and some of her money ever since she made it to the big times.

Hefe Wine has tried a number of tactics to get his hands on Iggy’s money.  He’s tried to sue the rapper for copyright infringement alleging he made her the star she is today.  According to BET, he filed papers in an effort to stop unlawful use her of her music, image, and stage name.   Then forged her signature on a contract, in an attempt to extort money from her by threatening to release a sex tape, starring the Grand Hustle femcee and himself.  Shortly after that, he threatened to release an album of the Aussie-born MC comprised of unreleased music she had on a laptop, he stole from her.  Now he’s filing for divorce. The only problem is, they were never married.

BET reports Iggy’s ex says they "agreed to be married, holding themselves out as man and wife and began residing together in the State of Texas on or about September, 2008."  Wine claims he and Iggy had a common law marriage up until last year, when according to him they began living separately.  TMZ obtained the latest paperwork were Wine is asking a judge to prohibit Iggy from selling off their "community property."  Meaning her music, image, name and sound, all of which he helped create.

Meanwhile, Iggy's legal team is eager to go to court.  The ‘Fancy’ star sent out a series of tweets in response to her ex’s latest ploy to cash in on her fame.  She tweeted, “My lawyer agreed to be served ‘divorce’ papers but they want to hire someone to serve me in person, probably so it can be another TMZ story.”  she continued,  “I also was told yesterday via his lawyer if i do not settle out of court they will go to the press and say I gave him an STD, whats next?  ... Unfortunately to file common law ‘divorce’ all you need is three of your friends to sign a statement swearing the persons story is true. ... Actually proving it in court is another story im [sic] just waiting to get infront [sic] of a judge so it can be disproven & obtain a restraining order.”

In another series of tweets, the rap femcee exposed Wine for lying to her.  As it turns out, he really is married, with three children.  Azelea tweeted, he abused his wife, Annette Buitrago,  “The thing that i find awfully sad about this whole story is that the mother of this mans 3 year old child is in court right now...saying he stalked, headbutted and tried to strangle her in January after their 7 year relationship ended.  Why is her truth being overlooked in favor of sensationalism? It makes me so sad & my heart goes out to Annette Buitrago."

Crazy right?  I'll continue to keep you posted as this story evolves.  On a brighter note, Iggy has some good news to reveal and you can find more about that below inside Tha Wire.
