That's right, you don't have to know how to write code for a website, do graphic design, or anything that involves a specific skill. There's a website called Fiverr and it's a gold mine for people like me and you looking to make extra money or even create a full-time career.

Fiverr is an online marketplace that connects freelance service suppliers with people needing a specific job done for them. The platform has over 3.4 million active buyers wanting to pay you money to do jobs for them. And the best part is you don't need any specific skills to start making money today on Fiverr.

I've been on Fiverr for over seven years. I've done voice work for customers, sold non-disclosure agreements, sold music industry contracts, and much more. I can tell you from personal experience, you can make money on Fiverr.

Here's are examples of how you can make money on Fiverr:

  • Website owners and developers will pay you to surf their websites and send them back notes on what you liked about the site and what were some things you would change to make the website more customer-friendly.  Now that's easy money.
  • You can offer a service that you will find another Fiverr seller to do the work for you. When someone orders your service for $10, you let another Fiverr seller do the work for $5 and then collect your profits when you complete your gig.

You'll need to do some research on the platform and find the gigs that are right for you. I would recommend you create gigs on Fiverr that you're passionate about. That way you won't get burned out or discouraged in the beginning if none of your gigs are selling.

Good luck and I hope you start making money on Fiverr the first week you create your gigs. Once you get comfortable with the platform, if you do have certain skills that you believe will sell, by all means, create a gig for it and watch the money start coming in.

LOOK: Things from the year you were born that don't exist anymore

The iconic (and at times silly) toys, technologies, and electronics have been usurped since their grand entrance, either by advances in technology or breakthroughs in common sense. See how many things on this list trigger childhood memories—and which ones were here and gone so fast you missed them entirely.

LOOK: Here are the best lake towns to live in

Many of the included towns jump out at the casual observer as popular summer-rental spots--the Ozarks' Branson, Missouri, or Arizona's Lake Havasu--it might surprise you to dive deeper into some quality-of-life offerings beyond the beach and vacation homes. You'll likely pick up some knowledge from a wide range of Americana: one of the last remaining 1950s-style drive-ins in the Midwest; a Florida town that started as a Civil War veteran retirement area; an island boasting some of the country's top public schools and wealth-earners right in the middle of a lake between Seattle and Bellevue; and even a California town containing much more than Johnny Cash's prison blues.
