MC Hammer Hit With Massive IRS Lien — Tha Wire [VIDEO]

TMZ is reporting that MC Hammer is on the IRS’s bad side and recently the iconic rapper was hit with a hefty tax lien. Reportedly Hammer and his wife, Stephanie, has failed to pay $798,000 in back taxes.

As no surprise the massive lien stems from Hammers heyday.  Unfortunately, every dime Hammer earns now through his Hammer, LLC Company will go directly to the U.S. treasury to pay off his bill.

The good news, unlike Fat Joe and Lauryn Hill the rapper is not facing any jail time for the time being.

In the meantime, MC Hammer seems to be keeping himself busy and word has it he’s working on putting out new music. Speaking of which, he recently released a new anthem for the Oakland Raiders football team called ‘Oakland Fight Club‘ featuring Mister F.A.B.

In other news, Drake is lending a helping hand to what some consider to be one of the ‘most dangerous schools in America.’ The Toronto son is building a recording studio in Philadelphia’s Strawberry Mansion high school.

In a recent interview, Drizzy told ABC that he was moved to help after seeing the school on a ‘World News With Diana Sawyer’ report.

Finally, four people were shot at a recent  Meek Mill concert in Wilmington, Del while leaving the venue.

Delaware’s News Journal, reports that state troopers arrived at Moodswing Nightclub at 1 in the morning and heard multiple gunshots being fired within the crowd. They also witnessed 600 to 700 concert goers running to their cars to get away from the shooting.  When the chaos ended, four people ended up suffering non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Three of the victims were men in their early twenties and the fourth was a 33-year-old woman.
