Meek Mill's beef with Drake has gone far beyond the hip-hop community. After hashtags like #MeekBeLike exploded on the internet, now there's another aspect of the beef that includes politics.

Councillor Norm Kelly, who handles the Scarborough-Agincourt in Toronto, sent a strong message to the Dreams Worth More Than Money creator this morning (July 22). "You're no longer welcome in Toronto, @MeekMill," the Ward 40 representative tweeted.

The message stems from Meek's recent accusation that Drake doesn't pen his own lyrics thus making him a fraud in hip-hop. The Twitter rant even sparked fans and critics on the social media network to weigh in on the topic through the hashtag "#MeekBeLike."

Kelly is known for his pop culture-centric and often hilarious tweets including one that featured a photo of Jay Z to illustrate a new traffic rule.

Comments along with retweets of his jab at Meek came pouring in. While many laughed it off, others sided with the Philly rapper. "telling someone they are no longer welcome in our city because they voiced an opinion shows how basic your mind state is," one wrote.

Despite Kelly's tweet, Live Nation confirmed that Meek will still be coming to Toronto and performing with his bae Nicki Minaj on July 28 in the Molson Amphitheatre.

The usually vocal Meek hasn't responded to Kelly yet, but the day isn't over.
