One movie that many raved about is the animation family movie Moana. The movie follows a young lady who was the daughter of a Polynesian village chief. The movie stars a list of well-known actors like Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson, Rachel House, Temuera Morrison and so many other greats who really took the movie to another level.

Unfortunately, due to the anticipation of bad weather tonight, the showing for Moana has been cancelled. The showing was going to be at the Prien Lake Park and currently has no date for rescheduling. However, next Friday Yogi Bear is going to be showing at the same location.

If you are still looking for something to get the kids involved and to have a great time, Southern Touch is still having their showing of The SpongeBob Movie showing tonight at the MLK center 2009 N. Simmons Street, kicking off tonight at 7:30 p.m. As of right now, the showing is going as planned, with plenty of refreshments and of course a great time.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
