It's been a tough few weeks with those in the industry and beyond over the death of slain rapper Nipsey Hussle. There have been countless videos of tributes and even clips of the man he was and the encouraging words that he would use to motivate people.

Today, we finally get the opportunity to lay the soldier to rest in the Staple Center in Los Angeles. What's troubling is while there were tickets for the funeral for those to come and pay their respects, there have been some who have taken this for granted who received tickets that they have been selling on ebay, of all places. Thankfully, ebay has morals and has shut down all of the culprits. However, I still feel like those who are guilty should be held responsible and pay fines if nothing else.

For those like myself who have never met him and will never get the chance to do so but would like to honorably pay my respects, they will be broadcasting the memorial services for the world to see. As of right now, BET and Tidal will hold a live telecast at 12:00pm today.

It's still hard to believe that he is gone, and he is going to be truly mourned by those in the industry and abroad. The great thing about it is that the music will live on forever, and hopefully we'll be able to continue the fight for what he stood for.
