T-Pain’s recent comments about 6ix9ine cooperating with federal agents have sparked outrage from several rappers like Gillie Da Kid, Trouble, Snoop Dogg and Fabolous. Now, it appears that Offset just offered up his opinion 6ix9ine’s legal predicament as well.

During an interview with Real 92.3's Big Boy TV, a portion of which was posted to the station's Twitter page on Monday (March 4), the Migos member said that the embattled rapper must now take responsibility for his actions. "My OGs use to tell me, you get in that water you better know how to swim," 'Set said. "At the end of the day, he's a grown man. There are rules and codes."

"You choose the streets and you go left on the streets, your safety is a problem now because you chose the streets," Offset continued. "Just know what you're doing."

As we alluded to up top, the going left Offset speaks of appears to be a reference to Tekashi's working with federal authorities. Last month, it was reported that the rainbow-haired rapper had entered a guilty plea and told authorities about the various crimes he and his Nine Trey Gangsta Blood associates had committed in order to get time shaved off his then-expected potentil 32 years to life in prison sentence.

Offset doesn't get too specific in his interview, but he did make sure to hammer home the point of personal responsibility when speaking on 6ix9ine. He used his own life experiences to make his point.

"I've been arrested a lot of times, 13 or something like that," he added. "You got to take responsibility. You gotta take it in the chest. I blame me for all that happened to me. I can't put the blame in other directions."

Offset, who appeared on 6ix9ine's "Gummo (Remix)" last year, also feels that the rapper didn't have the right people around him. The 27-year-old rapper credits his "Day Ones"—which includes his cousin and people like Quality Control Music co-founder Pierre "Pee" Thomas—for keeping him grounded and not being afraid to tell him that "he's lame" if he does something on wrong on social media.
