There was one place to be to close out February and it was at the IBBA Conference. This is the International Black Broadcasters Association which is based on helping minority owners learn more about how they can acquire their own radio stations. This was a vision by veteran broadcaster and radio station owner Rob Neal. There are several other opportunities of talking about spreading and making more with your finances and of course the networking was top notch.

There was a host of great talent who was there including southern soul singer Emerson Hill, new R&B starlet Alii Michele as well as Entertainment Attorney Ricky Anderson who represents Tyler Perry, Steve Harvey and so many more. Along with many in the radio field who have been in the business for decades including the music business.

It all kicked off Friday night with a welcoming party and great entertainment that had the people on the floor. It ended on Saturday with a panel which included myself, Moderator Tony Gray and radio and record veterans Stan Branson and Demetrius Lloyd. All I can say is that it was the place to be with more knowledge then many would know what to do with it. Here are some of the photos from the event and make sure you are looking out for the next big event when it comes to town.
