With the Friday, November 4 release of Pimp C’s posthumous Long Live the Pimp album, comes denouncement of the album, from two of the children of the late UGK rapper. Chad Butler Jr., and his brother Corey Butler issued a statement to AllHipHop, stating that they would not participate in the album at all, neither financially or creatively.

Chinara Butler, widow of Chad “Pimp C” Butler Sr., told Billboard that she is “disheartened” by the statement from Chad Jr. and Corey, and maintained that all of Pimp C’s children would benefit from the sales of Long Live the Pimp, via publishing profits from their fathers estate.

Hopefully they can get this worked out peacefully, but from what AllHipHop is reporting, there’s proof that Chinara, the children, and their guardians all signed off to a “letter of direction” back in 2008, with everyones signatures.

Purchase Long Live the Pimp now via iTunes.
