Pink Life Lake Charles is a non-profit, faith-based support group in Calcasieu Parish. Ryan Clemons, Aline Pires are co-founders of Pink Life. Clemons told the American Press their main goal is listening, showing compassion and understanding what individuals are going through. Throughout the year they sponsor a variety of benefits to provide services like infant CPR, safe sleep techniques, nutrition, financial advice and more. Those moms who sign-up for their program, receive diapers, wipes, and gently used baby items for free.
Pink Life (1320 N Simmons St, Lake Charles) helps young moms, or soon-to-be moms, 25 and younger whom aren't prepared for motherhood. Pires told KPLC 7 "We reach out to young mothers who are suffering and in need of support," She said. "I try to encourage them. That's what the program is all about. We don't just give diapers and information, we give them hope."
Clemons said of the upcoming Impact Conference, “It will consist of food, fun, fellowship and breakout sessions with a gift of diapers and wipes given to the moms at the end.” Don't miss it!
