Pooch Hall Arrested For DUI, And Hitting Parked Car – Tha Wire
Today in Tha Wire actor Marion “Pooch” Hall was involved in a bizarre minor accident with his 2-year old son Wednesday night(October 3, 2018) in Burbank, California. PEOPLE confirmed the Ray Donovan star was arrested, charged with a DUI and child endangerment. According to reports Hall was on N. Buena Vista Street when his car crashed into a parked car.
A spokesperson for the Burbank PD said officers were called to the scene after witnesses reported the actor was dangerously weaving in and out of traffic, with a small child in his lap. The incident occurred around 7:30 in the evening, and ended with the 44-year old's car smashing into a parked car. One witness alleged the toddler was steering the vehicle at the time of impact. It's unclear as to whether there was anyone else in the vehicle at the time. Thankfully the 2-year old was unharmed, and was released to Hall's wife.
TMZ broke the story and they report there were no injuries, but Hall is accused of being drunk. The police spokesperson said “Mr. Hall displayed obvious signs of alcohol intoxication and was unable to perform standardized field sobriety tests." Then went on to report, "Mr. Hall’s two-year-old son was riding in the car with him at the time of the collision and was determined to have been riding in the vehicle unrestrained, as required by law.”
Ray Donovan, is an extremely popular TV series that's currently in its 6th season. Hall has starred as, Daryll Donovan, in the Showtime drama since 2013. There's no telling if his role on the show is in jeopardy, but bad pub is never good. PEOPLE reports they reached out to the network, and Hall's rep, but nobody offered a comment on the matter. TMZ reports the actor failed a sobriety test, with a blood alcohol level of .25, which is 3 times the legal limit.
For now the Showtime actor will remain in custody at the Burbank City Jail. The TV stars bail is set at $100,000, and his first court date is Friday(October 5, 2018.) His charges are pending review by the Los Angeles County DA’s office. I'll keep you posted.
