Public Invited to Swearing in of New Mayor and City Council
Lake Charles, La. - On Saturday, July 1, the public is invited to the swearing-in ceremony for Mayor-elect Nic Hunter and the Lake Charles City Council (Luvertha August, Mark Eckard, Rodney Geyen, John Ieyoub, Mary Morris, Johnnie Thibodeaux, and Stuart Weatherford).
The swearing in takes place inside the Civic Center's Mezzanine room at 2 p.m., with "light refreshments" served, said a City of Lake Charles press release.
