Queen Latifah and Jill Scott are gearing up to star in a new Lifetime movie called Flint, about the water crisis in Flint, Mich.

According to Deadline, Scott, along with Betsy Brandt and Marin Ireland, will play the activists at the center of the scandal and who got the word out that locals were drinking lead-contaminated water. Latifah, meanwhile, will play a concerned citizen who helps the three ladies out.

On top of that, the Queen will serve as an executive producer on the project, along with TV personality Katie Couric, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. The film will also be directed by Bruce Beresford, and much of the script will be based on a Time magazine cover story on the crisis.

At this time, a release date for the project hasn't been announced, and neither Latifah or Scott have issued a statement yet.
