There have been plenty of rumors about the gangsta side of MC Hammer that we have heard tales about. Now, I will keep it real as I am a fan of his music from "Let's Get It Started" to "U Can't Touch This". He apparently placed a hit out on 3rd Bass and also got at a few more cats from back in the day.

The fact that his music was commercial, a lot of folks took him as soft and apparently with good reason. Redman, who I have the most respect for in the hip hop community, talked about the time that MC Hammer approached him about his slight diss back in the day.

Redman Speaks On MC Hammer Stepping to him over diss song:

Now, a lot of the new cats would say that this is nothing, and would love to talk trash about Hammer and even Redman. But the fact remains that these are both two artists who ran the charts back in the day. It's also very admirable that they were able to settle things like men and move on. Check out a classic from the homie Redman from back in the day, and also one of my favorites from MC Hammer as well.
