Today in Tha Wire, in case you haven't noticed superstar actress, Sanaa Lathan, is now bald. Yes! The diva really did cut off all her lovely locks. The verdict is in...she looks amazing!

According to HipHollywood girlfriend is sportin a new look for an upcoming role in the Netflix original film, Nappily Ever After. The jazzy new flick is based on a book, by Trisha R. Thomas, and is currently in production. Which explains why Lathan has been poppin on IG, stuntin a hairdo. Sanaa stars as, Violet Jones, a fly sista that's got it all together. That is...until an epic accident occurs at the beauty shop, sending her life into a tailspin. Everything appears to fall apart, then she discovers who was, isn't who she wants to be.

Sanaa is definitely keeping everyone's attention with her ever-changing doo's. Along with her funky shaved head, the actress is having a little fun with her new character. Below check all the dramatic looks she goes through for the upcoming film, prior to shaving it all off.

In the meantime, here's a cool fact about the upcoming film. Halle Berry was reportedly cast for the role of Violet Jones first. Word has it, the acting vet was slated to star and produce the movie too. Obviously a few changes took place since then, but Berry had also agreed to shave her head for the role.
