I am pleased to announce that the City of Lake Charles is bringing back Skate-Tember! Like last year, they are bringing back the themed skate nights to celebrate the decades. Let's have a blast. Costumes are encouraged. So, get ready to have some fun in Southwest Louisiana.

Once again, Skate-Tember will take place at the Lake Charles Event Center, inside the coliseum. You will need to bring your own skates! Make sure your little ones didn't outgrow their old ones, and you might wanna get a pair yourself. Because this year, they've added an adult-only night!

Skate-Tember is brought to you by the City of Lake Charles and Partners In Parks. Special thanks to the McNeese State University radio station and DJs at KBYS, who'll be on the 1s and 2s and give us something to roll to!

Embark on a journey through '80s nostalgia with kids (and aliens) on bikes, and teens dodging principles (and responsibilities). We've put the proverbial pause on some of the decade's most iconic flicks, and now it's your mission to name them all.
