Soulja Boy to Be Less Active on Social Media Following Release From Jail: Report
Soulja Boy was released from jail last week, but there is a reason we haven't heard so much as a peep from the usually boisterous rapper. Big Drako is making a concentrated effort to be less active on social media.
Fans were puzzled after not getting an "I'm back" tweet or Instagram post from the rapper after he was set free from a Cali jail on July 14. Nothing has been posted from the rapper since then. According to a report from TMZ posted on Sunday (July 21), SB is making some changes in his lifestyle and social media usage is one of them. Sources tell the celebrity news site the rapper also kicked a bunch of people out of his home in the San Fernando Valley that were previously staying there while he was on lock down, during which his house was burglarized.
In one of his most recent IG posts, which was uploaded while he was still in jail, Soulja phoned in and promised the biggest comeback of 2019 when he got out.
"Shout out to all the fans that been writing me," he said. "I been reading all y'all letters. I appreciate it. I'm going on tour. Like I said, the biggest comeback of 2019. Jail? Jail? Come on, man. You know I do this. Shout out to everybody that's been holding me down, come to visit me, putting money on my books. I love all my fans, it ain't over. It's a minor setback for a major comeback."
Soulja's new album How Can You Blame Me? is slated to be released on July 28.
