Southeastern Rodeo Association, Presents The Lake Charles Sera Black Rodeo

Southeastern Rodeo Association, LLC (SERA) presents the Lake Charles Sera Black Rodeo! Are you ready to see a show? Get your western gear, round up the family and friends, and hightail it to the Lake Charles Event Center on Saturday, August 17, 2024, to witness the finest rodeo entertainment in Southwest Louisiana!

Everyone is welcome. Everyone is invited. Doors open at 6 pm and showtime gets underway at 7:30 pm. Celebrating its 11th Anniversary, the Southeastern Rodeo Association is bringing its exciting tour to Lake Charles with high-level showmanship and excitement from the professional cowboys and cowgirls of the Sera Black Rodeo. Events include Steer Wrestling, Bronc Riding, and Calf Roping.

There is plenty of "girl power" at this rodeo! Watch the ladies' barrel racing and ladies' steer undecorating. Plus, check out the team roping, junior barrel racing for kids and of course, no rodeo is complete without the main event. The Bull Ridin' competition!

Southeastern Rodeo Association is on a mission not just to bring an entertaining show but to educate the public about the important role African American Cowboys played in taming the Old West. Their many contributions are legendary and their accomplishments are historic.

The Southeastern Rodeo Association, LLC (SERA) was founded by Walter Hull, @tegllc1 who's been a lifelong advocate for promoting the Black rodeo legacy with integrity, ethical standards, and great sportsmanship.
