Strangers Pay Visit To Newborn Baby, Parents After Texting Mix-Up [PHOTO]
A Georgia couple and their newborn baby got a surprise visit in the hospital after accidentally texting the wrong number.
Mark and Lindsay Lashley welcomed their first born on Saturday and when they sent out a group text to friends and family to announce the birth of their son, they typed in a wrong number during all the fuss.
Dennis Williams was on the receiving end of that wrong number, and instead of ignoring the text, he decided to make plans to visit the new parents!
As you can see in the screenshots, the parents were totally good sports—replying with "LOL" and even providing the hospital room number. Shortly after, Williams and his brother showed up with gifts in tow.
The Lashley's were equal parts surprised and excited.
They brought diapers and bottles and a pacifier. It was very nice of them.
A photo posted to Facebook with the boys (above) thanking them for their thoughtfulness has now gone viral, and although the parents have enjoyed all the attention, they are definitely ready to get home and get their son settled in.
This isn't the first time something like this has happened. Back in 2014, a bride-to-be sent a text to the wrong number inviting them to a wedding photo shoot, and even though they knew it was an accident, the recipient still showed up with all his boys.
Congrats to the Lashleys and props to Dennis and his brother for coming in clutch.
