Swizz Beatz is cool with The LOX joining Roc Nation, but he never wants to see the trio throwing up the Roc symbol. The producer let this be known during an appearance on DJ Whoo Kid's The Whoolywood Shuffle. Swizz jokingly demanded that the group should maintain allegiance to Ruff Ryders.

"I just don't want nobody throwing up the Roc sign," Swizz said around the five minute mark of the above video. "I just don't like that part. Jay is family and everybody family, but throw up the R, please. Don't get too excited. Fuck that. I don't care what the deal is. We ain't doing that. They ain't throwing up no Ruff Ryders. Let's keep it hip-hop. Keep it business."

The LOX signing to Jay Z's label is something fans would never have expected 15 years ago. But the group has plenty of experience when it comes to working with power players, such as their time on Bad Boy Records. The LOX recently spoke to XXL about their tenure on Diddy's label and revealed that they didn't like the "All About the Benjamins" beat.

“I just didn’t like the beat at first," Sheek Louch said. "I ain’t gonna lie to you. Who knew… like you kind of never know what song is gonna be extra extra crazy, so you know we spit and it just took place. But you know I fought it for a minute. I did it. I did my verse that same night, but it didn’t matter, but he [Puff] just had other plans for that motherfucker.”
