Superstar actors, Terrence Howard and Tarji P. Henson, have hit the jackpot with their new TV series Empire. The hour-long Fox drama was created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong and ever since it's premiere, has shattered TV viewing records.  2015 has been a big year for the 45-year old actor and father of three, as he announced he and his new wife Miranda, are expecting their first baby this year.

However aside from the TV drama, Howard is dealing with some real-life drama and now according to reports authorities have gotten involved.  TMZ, Daily News and a few other media outlets have reported the celebrated actor's ex-wife, Michelle Ghent, is suspected of making death threats against him on social media.

TMZ says the LAPD is investigating a barrage of Instagram threats like, "I'm watching you! I'm coming for ... LOL. You two won't live to see your children." Howard has evidently had enough of the threats and filed a police report accusing his ex of being behind the threats.

Other Instagram threats, include a photo of Terrence and another woman and a warning to his new wife, "Your husband is cheating on you! Just thought you should know."

Another with popped up with a pic of a pill bottle that belonged to Howard with the caption, "Oh dear, look what I found. Do hope you refilled. It's one of the things you can't leave home without."

The LAPD claim in the search warrant affidavit, there's reason to believe Michelle is behind the postings, as the Instagram accounts have no followers except for her.  By the way, Howard has been getting the nasty lil posts for a year now.

I'll keep you posted on this, in the meantime as his new Hip Hop drama Empire continues to gain popularity, the Fox network and Columbia Records are teaming up to make the franchise a hit on the music charts.  The hit TV drama is getting it's own soundtrack!  Be sure to listen to Tha Wire below on who'll be on it and when it's going to be in stores.

Finally, BET reports singer/reality star Ray J, suffered several broken ribs, a busted lip and torn ACL after being attacked by his girlfriend and Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood co-star, Princess Love, in a New Orleans hotel.

TMZ broke the story, and reported the fist fight went down last Wednesday when the singer came back to his room after a late night with TV producers at a strip club. According to hotel security, when they saw Ray J leaving the building bleeding they called 911. A witness told authorities Princess screamed, "I'm gonna kill you."
