The Chamber Southwest Louisiana announced it is partnering with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on a national initiative to address inequality of opportunity. This is coming on the heels of the outcry for equal rights and addressing racism around the world.

The Chamber SWLA will join the U.S. Chamber's national town hall event on June 25, where business and community leaders will discuss actions that can be taken by the government and the private sector. They will address inequality through education, employment, entrepreneurship, and justice reform.

To further enhance the importance of this initiative, the Chamber SWLA will host local and industry dialogues to further the discussion.

U.S Chamber President Suzanne Clark addresses the importance of equity and inclusion in the workplace. There is work to do, with the Chamber taking steps in the right direction. There will be more great things and initiatives to come.
