The Real Timmy Turner Hops on Desiigner’s “Timmy Turner” Song

The Fairly OddParents' Timmy Turner and Desiigner have finally crossed paths. A new Vine by user Thomas Sanders features Tara Strong, the voice of the Timmy Turner, jumping on Desiigner's track named after her character. It's a fun clip which shows the growing recognition and reach of the Brooklyn rapper's song.

The first version of Desiigner's "Timmy Turner" debuted as his 2016 XXL Freshman freestyle. That video became one of the biggest topics of the summer as fans and critics debated its merits. Desiigner would later reveal the freestyle was a preview of a "Timmy Turner" song which would be released in July.

Earlier this month, "Timmy Turner" got a brand new life thanks to a remix featuring Kanye West. The remix was originally played for a few lucky fans at Travis Scott’s .WAV party in Los Angeles. The whole world got to hear it upon its official debut on Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 show.

2016 has been a great year for Desiigner, but he recently experienced a bit of a hiccup when he was arrested on multiple charges following a road rage incident. The Brooklyn native was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell and criminal possession of a loaded weapon and menacing.

The intent to sell and gun charges were later dropped. Police also discovered that the looses pills they found were steroids, not OxyContin as they suspected. Desiigner's representation has argued that he was racially profiled. The NYPD refuted this by saying they were simply responding to a 911 call and Desiigner was committing a crime.
