Things To Know For Cowboys Block Party With Wayne Toups In Lake Charles This Friday
Coming up tomorrow night is another installment of the Cowboy Block Party. It's a homecoming for McNeese State University and they are celebrating in a big way.
Tonight is the big homecoming parade in Lake Charles. If you are attending the parade or are participating in riding in the parade, here are the things you need to know like the route and start times.
Then on Friday night, get ready for Grammy Award Winner Wayne Toups live in concert. Wayne and his band Zydecajun will be playing all your favorite Wayne Toups songs like Take My Hand, Oh What A Night, Please Explain, That's What I Love About My Baby, Tuepol Honey, Free Me, Two-step Mamou, and so so many more.
The event will take place no matter what rain or shine according to McNeese officials. The Cowboy block party takes place on the corner of McNeese and Common Streets in South Lake Charles at the grove.
The gates will open at 6:00 pm and the music will start at 7:00 pm. Wayne Toups will hit the stage from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm and then we will have a break. Wayne will then take the stage again at 9:00 pm and play until 10:00 pm.
Fans and attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and ice chests with their favorite drink but no glass bottles, please. The event is free to attend and open to all ages. Get ready for the biggest party in Southwest Louisiana Friday night.
