On Monday (Nov. 25), a new episode of Jada Pinkett Smith's Red Table Talk featuring both the Dime Trap rapper and his wife, Tiny was released. The was there to specifically address Tip's prior comments made on the Ladies Like Us podcast, and Tip said that everything was taken out of context.

"Firstly, I came to clear up any misconceptions that have been surrounding how we interact and parent and what is appropriate and inappropriate," T.I. began. "I think all of this surrounds a conversation that I was having in a very joking manner when asked how do I deal with parenting in this day and age. And so I just began to—you know, from a place of truth, I began to embellish and exaggerate. And I think that a lot of people kind of like, took it extremely literal. Because if you put any of my reputation by like who I am as a father and who I've been, I honestly thought people knew me better than that."

Both Tip and Tiny went on to explain that he was never in the exam room and that these visits were when Deyjah was 15 and 16, not present-day. He also issued an apology to his daughter for the entire ordeal.

"There was never any objection [to me being present at the visits]," Tip explained. "[Deyjah] did have a problem with me talking about it, however, and I understand that. And I am incredibly apologetic to her for that—to her! To you, sweet baby Deyjah—not to any of these other strangers or any of these weirdos who, you know, just kind of toss lies around for fun. She understands my intentions and she knows who I am. She knows who I've always been, and I think that that allows a certain level of understanding."

As previously reported, T.I. said during his visit to the Ladies Like Us podcast earlier this month that he accompanies his daughter to the gynecologist to ensure that she's still a virgin by having the doctor check that her hymen is still intact. During the episode of that podcast, he said that his daughter's hymen was still "intact" as of her 18th birthday.

The hosts of the podcast issued an apology following the backlash from their episode with T.I. and removed it from all streaming services. Some of Tip's peers spoke out against him for his comments while others made jokes at his expense, including Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent.
