Toni Braxton And Birdman Engaged?

Today in Tha Wire, you may have already heard the buzz on the street, but rumor has it, Birdman popped to question to R&B "living legend" Toni Braxton! Is this for real? Maybe. All the chattered started after WeTV ran the trailer for the upcoming Braxton Family Values, season premiere. As new scenes from the popular show flash across the screen, it's clear the sisters have more drama and in fighting to overcome, but it's also clear somebody's got some BIG news.

Mmmmmm. I don't know about you....but sounds like that's what she said (or somebody said it.) Guess we'll all have to see. The new season of BFV returns this March. In the meantime.... How does the 49-yr Cash Money rap mogul feel about the 50-yr old songbird? He stopped by The Wendy Williams Show and didn't dodge the TV host when she asked if Toni THE Braxton, was his girlfriend. Nice! If they truly are engaged, I would personally like to congratulate both of them.

Switching gears, R&B superstar Trey Songz is back in the new again for wigging out. Not sure what's up with the singer, whatever it is, I hope he's okay. If anything, Tremaine has a temper, so it's best not to test this brotha. Unfortunately though, that temper has been getting him a lot of bad press these days. In 2016 the singer and his crew were literally put outta the, D.C. MGM National Harbor Hotel and Casino. Trigger had reportedly booked several rooms, and apparently there was an issue with his reservations.

When the hotels front desk clerk told him they didn't have his rooms, the star went off. He allegedly cut-up so bad, folks at the MGM had to call the police to escort the singer and his entourage the boot. Shortly after the incident Trey took to IG and left a little message for D.C.'s finest.

A few days later Trey's temper made the news again. This time he had problems in Detroit, and was arrested for destroying equipment after his set was cut short. Detroit Officer Dan Donakowski said sound turned off the music, "At which time, he became irate and started throwing objects (from) the stage; speakers, microphones, anything he could get his hands on." Songz was performing with several other stars at the Joe Louis Arena, and was told his show had to end early due to the cities 11:30 pm curfew law.

Obviously he wasn't trying to hear that. When authorities approached the stage, all hell broke loose.

Then on August 18, 2017, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 18 months of probation, ordered to complete anger management classes and pay restitution to the wounded officer. It could have been a lot worse. The the singer was originally looking at a 4-yr prison sentence, but he opted for a plea deal. The felony assault charge against a police officer, was downgraded to a misdemeanor.

I wish that was it, but last year in December BET reports, he was accused of hitting a female in the face with her own phone. TMZ reported that the unidentified woman paid for a Meet & Greet with the star, in VIP at the Philadelphia’s Vanity Grand Cabaret strip club. Trey was allegedly “hostile and disrespectful” to her and other fans in the room all night.

Things took a turn for the worst when the female fan tried to snap a pic with Trigger in the parking lot. He basically went ballistic again, and smacked her phone into her face. The impact broke her glasses, and Trey was once again looking at assault charges. The R&B star was hit with 2 misdemeanors, and sued for $50,000.

Now he is in trouble again! TMZ reports over the NBA All-Star Weekend, Trey is accused of assaulting another woman at a Hollywood Hills party. Crazy thing is, she was allegedly talking to another person when he hit her. The unidentified woman was reportedly talking to a man at the party and the singer lashed out and attacked her. It's unclear as to whether or not they went there together, or if Trey even knew her.

Needless to say, the victim was treated at a nearby hospital, and then filed a police report. So far Trey has not been arrested. The case and his fate is in the hands of the L.A. City Attorney.
