Trey Songz is a free man after posting a $25,000 bond for aggravated assault and assaulting a police officer. After an arraignment, he left a Detroit Detention Center on Thursday, Dec. 29, to a group of female fans waiting to see him.

The singer was arrested on Wednesday night, Dec. 28, in Detroit after a concert at the Joe Louis Arena. Trey went nuts after the concert organizers cut his mic off for going over his time. When police went to calm the singer, he was throwing equipment from the stage and an officer was his in the head. The officer suffered a concussion, but was treated at a hospital and released with minor injuries.

While in the detention center, Trey Songz was reportedly cool to the inmates, signing autographs, and singing “Silent Night.” Though he avoided talking to the media, he did take photo’s with fans. He’s set to appear in court on January 5.
