Trey Songz was accused of striking a woman at a party during NBA All-Star weekend in Los Angeles back in February. The woman claims the singer hit her in the face after he got upset with her for talking to another man, where she later reportedly went to a hospital with minor injuries.

Back in March Trey, real name Tremaine Neverson, turned himself into the LAPD. At the time of his arrest, he maintained his innocence, citing he was "being lied on and falsely accused for someone's personal gain."

Fast forward to now, and Trey is off the hook. The singer will not face a felony criminal charge for allegedly hitting Andrea Buera. According to TMZ, the L.A. District Attorney isn't buying her story. Witness statements were given to police from Trey's lawyer, Shawn Holley, and things just didn't add up to Buera's accounts of what happened that night.

Trey now has to reportedly wait for the Los Angeles City Attorney to make the decision as to if he receives a lesser charge of misdemeanor domestic violence.

If he does receive that charge, it doesn't make sense considering the lack of credibility of his accusers' account of the alleged incident.
