Trick Daddy Thinks Hot 97’s Ebro Disrespected Kodak Black by Bringing Up Sexual Assault Incident
Florida is standing up for its own. On Wednesday (Dec. 12), while handling press for his upcoming album release, Kodak Black walked out of his interview with Ebro in the Morning on Hot 97, after host Ebro Darden asked the rapper about his ongoing sexual assault case. Today (Dec. 13), Trick Daddy weighs in on the matter and states that Ebro disrespected the "ZEZE" rapper.
In a video uploaded to Instagram, Trick states that Ebro should be setting an example for people to follow. Towards the end of his explanation, he calls Ebro a "fake ass Charlamagne," making reference to Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club host Charlamagne Tha God.
"Let me tell you radio niggas something," Trick Daddy began. "Y'all getting out of line. Ebro, you disrespected the homie. You tried a young nigga, Kodak my little young nigga, nigga. If nobody gonna step up I'm gonna step up, nigga... You're supposed to be a older nigga. You're supposed to be a nigga that leads these niggas not into temptation. You're supposed to get these niggas and put them under your wing and teach them right from wrong. But your bitch ass, you trying to be a fake ass Charlamagne. There's only one Charlamagne Tha God pussy."
During his interview yesterday, Kodak's body language immediately changed when Ebro said that the 21-year-old rapper should return to the radio station in the future to discuss his ongoing sexual assault case in detail. Kodak gave an ultimatum to either have the subject changed or he would exit the interview.
"I feel like sometimes when niggas like me going through shit, y'all be entertained by bullshit.. Change the subject or I'm finna walk out," Kodak said before walking out. "Alright, I'm gone."
As previously reported, the Dying to Live rapper's sexual assault case trial has been set to begin in April 2019. Back in February of 2016, Kodak was accused of pinning down, bitting and raping the alleged victim in a hotel in Florence, S.C.
