UPDATE CPSB School Supply List – School Board Is Suppling Items On List

Turns out the official 2022-23 school supply list for grades PreK to 8th is being provided by the Calcasieu Parish School Board (CPSB.) There was a slight mix-up with messaging, but we talked with the school board and got everything straight. Sorry for the confusion. There may be additional supplies parents/guardians might need to pick up, but that depends on each individual school, teacher, and class.

In the meantime, this is a HUGE weight off the back-to-school list for parents/guardians in the district. This is also, the second year in a row that the CPSB has furnished the basic school supplies for students in grades PreK - 8th. As a parent with a student in the district, I know I am not by myself when I say...it's greatly appreciated. In other good news this week, the new uniform policy was a big hit with all students in the district!

Nothing needs to be done as far as school supplies are concerned. All supplies will be dispersed to each school in the district, packaged, and waiting for students when they arrive for the new school year. The official CPSB 2022-23 School Supplies are below per grade:
