Attention all movie buffs, must see theater is on the way! Walt Disney is getting ready to own the box office for the next two years at least. Via the 2019 D23 Expo, Disney Studios is gearing up to roll out sequels to some of the biggest blockbusters of all time. Save the dates, below is a look at Walt Disney's 2019-2022 Box Office Schedule -Top 5 Must See Movies.

1.) MALEFICENT: MISTRESS OF EVIL - October 18, 2019

Oh yes! Angelina Jolie, returns as Maleficent in the highly anticipated sequel Mistress of Evil. Picking up where the 2014 original left off Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora, find themselves back at odds when a future marriage reveals threatens to bring dark forces from the shadows. Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor.join the cast for another exciting feature headed for theaters in October.

2. FROZEN II - November 22, 2019


Grab the popcorn and candy this Christmas Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven and their beloved snowman sidekick Olaf return to enchant the holidays. The crew leave Arendelle in search of the origins of Elsa's powers and travel to an ancient forest to save the kingdom.

3.) STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER - December 20, 2019

Another epic George Lucas Star Wars chapter heads to theaters, complete with the legendary Billy Dee Williams. It only took 40 years, but this is where the saga is supposed to end. Keri Russell and Nomi Ackie are joining the all star cast of John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Anthony Daniels, Oscar Isaac, Joonas Suotamo, and Kelly Marie Tran in the final adventure.

4.) JUNGLE CRUISE - July 24, 2020


This movie has been in the making since 2006, named and based after the actual Disneyland ride Jungle Cruise this is a movie NOT to miss. Staring the one and only Dwayne Johnson and actress Emily Blunt , these two are catching some major Jungle Fever … literally in search of the mystical Tree of Life. Set in the 30's, The Rock plays a boat skipper named Frank who hires Blunt’s character Lily, and her brother McGregor played by comedian Jack Whitehall. Taking a page from Indiana Jones, this threesome is on a mission to find the legendary tree and harris its magical healing powers. Make plans to see this movie next summer.

5.) SOUL- June 19, 2020

If you didn’t know Disney’s got soooouul, big time! Next year Pixar will debut it's first African American lead character in Soul. Jamie Foxx leads and another all star cast to include the likes of Tina Faye, Phylicia Rashad, Questlove and Daveed Diggs in the 2020 summer delight. Foxx voice-stars as Joe Gardner, a middle-school music teacher who yearns for the chance to perform at a famous New York Jazz club called, The Blue Note. Of course Jamie will flex his singing chops showcasing new music from the movies soundtrack.

Last but not least a BONUS movie surprise! Disney officially announced May 6, 2022 they're coming out with Black Panther II - The Hunt Begins!


Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, confirmed the exciting news and said the sequel is Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ryan Coogle will once again be behind the script and at the helm for all the directing duties. Look for Chadwick Boseman to reprise his iconic role along with most of the original cast. I can't wait either!
