Longtime ESPN personality Stuart Scott literally took center stage at Tuesday night's ESPY Awards when he accepted the Jimmy V Perseverance Award. And his speech did not disappoint.

Scott, who's currently battling cancer, touched on the importance of never giving up, a lesson imparted famously by Jim Valvano over 20 years ago. He also spoke about his most recent hospital stay and the love he feels for his two daughters.
