Anyone who's watched NBA stars like LeBron James or Kevin Durant sail through the air and throw down a magnificent dunk has dreamed of one day being able to do the same. The thing is, almost none of us can.

But that doesn't mean we won't try. It doesn't matter how old we are, we'll always yearn for that seemingly superhuman ability to fly through the air and power a basketball through the hoop from above. ("With authority!" as Marv Albert might say. He always does in our heads when we imagine winning the NBA Championship on a game-ending tomahawk slam in front of thousands at Madison Square Garden. Not that we've thought about it much.)
