Set in Drama, LA three beauticians are living their best life working at the family salon, The Hair Clinic. It's been the most popular beauty spot in the city for the past 40 years. The owner Bernadine Payne spends her days gettin' the daily tea and workin' up do's alongside her mama, Niecy, and her daughter Lola.

There's never a dull moment at The Hair Clinic, because there's always someone or something to talk about and the tunes coming from the Bluetooth keep the atmosphere in the shop jovial. Ordinarily, the 3 generations of women have a happy working relationship and the salon's success is proof of that.

Then, out of nowhere something changed. The atmosphere in the shop grew cold and their relationships began to unravel. With it, comes unspoken long-grievances, resentment and jealousy between grandmother, mother and daughter. You know what they say. Where there's smoke, there's fire.
