Just because Christmas is over doesn’t mean that giving to others stops. Rapper 2 Chainz and his TRU Foundation continue their charitable contributions into 2016 by donating a five-bedroom, two-bathroom house in Atlanta to a family of 11, for one year.

After combing through fundraising page GoFundMe, the “Watch Out” rapper and his team learned of a family who had fallen on hard times with the father not able to work due to medical issues, and their eldest two sons were suffering from medical issues as well, not to mention the couple had two sets of twins. Their previous residence was reportedly deplorable, with the father citing two raccoons, rats, and squirrels were living in the homes ceiling. After being evicted from their home with no where to go, God answered their prayers.

“We ain’t know where we was gonna go,” said the father. “We was not looking forward to nothing like this. It is way over our head, but we gonna learn how to deal with it. But we thank God for it.” Now we don’t have to cry no more. We don’t have to worry nothin no more.”

2 Chainz made it clear that his actions were out of the kindness of his heart,

“This right here ain’t gonna save me taxes, it’s in the beginning of the year,” said Chainz. “I’m looking forward to seeing their smiles. I’m looking forward to the kids growing up knowing that Uncle 2 Chainz came through. Keep praying. You gotta have faith. You gotta believe.”
