2015 Spring Art Walk In Downtown Lake Charles [VIDEO]

Even though the 2015 Spring Art Walk usually takes place on the last Friday of April, this year do to the bad weather, the walk was postponed to today (Friday, May 1.)  This is a wonderful way to highlight the talent of local artists.  As a matter of fact, over 100 artists are expected to participate and it all takes place between the 700 and 800 blocks of Ryan Street in downtown Lake Charles from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Note these blocks will be closed to traffic during this time.

Brought you by the Arts Council of SWLA and the City of Lake Charles, the public is invited to participate as downtown coffee shops, salons, restaurants, and even vacant buildings will be turned into pop-up galleries  There will even be an Art Battle!  Watch the video below of past battles and see how amazing these artists are.
