That's because one of the most famous car shows and legendary auctions takes place in Biloxi, MS, the first week in October. The 27th Annual Cruisin' The Coast will go down along the Mississippi Gulf Coast from October 1 - October 8, 2023

Cruisin’ The Coast is a family-friendly series of events, including cruise-ins, swap meets, and live music entertainment bands. General admission to the four-day car and memorabilia auction is $20 (10 and under free). Doors open at 8:30 a.m. with the auction starting at 10 a.m.

The highlight of this week-long car show event is the 26th Annual Vicari Collector Car Auction on Wednesday, October 4, inside the Mississippi Coliseum & Convention Center. Thousands will bid on 600 of the most sought-after collector cars in the world! Headlining the iconic collector car docket this year are:

  • A rare, specially built 1953 Buick Skylark convertible(one of only 1,690.) This gem was commissioned by General Motors’ styling chief, the legendary Harvey Earle.
  • A rare numbers-matching 1966 Chevrolet Impala station wagon with a 427 cubic inch V-8 engine and factory 4-speed transmission that underwent a complete frame-off restoration. The Impala wagon has the original Protect-O-Plate brochure, a color chart, and the original Chevrolet catalog.
