50 Cent Says Mayweather Promotions Will Endorse Soulja Boy and Chris Brown’s Fight
50 Cent is playing matchmaker for a fight between Soulja Boy and Chris Brown. The G-Unit leader has been all over social media today (Jan. 4) trying to orchestrate a Soulja Boy vs. Chris Brown bout. 50 posted a few videos talking about all of the money that will be put up for the fight, which he claims will be promoted by Mayweather Promotions.
"Tell Soulja I said stop apologizing," 50 Cent wrote on Instagram. "Get the Draco out build up the hype for the fight. #putthemoneyonthewood I'm covering the bet for every set. LMAO."
If the fight happens, 50 is putting his money behind Chris Brown. The rapper joked about Soulja Boy and Breezy brawling after sharing a video of children fighting.
"This is me trying to breaking up the Soulja vs. CB fight," 50 wrote. "LMAO that's what happen when you try to say sorry. 😆"
50 then challenged the likes of Blac Youngsta and Yo Gotti to put up money for the bout. He also claimed that Floyd Mayweather had already placed a $250,000 bet on Soulja Boy.
"We talking money now, BIG MONEY CHAMP said he will take the bet," 50 wrote. "Mayweather promotions is gonna promote the fight. This is the shut up, or put the money up challenge. #wherethebagat."
Chris Brown seemed anxious for the fight with Soulja Boy to become a reality, jumping in the comments of 50 Cent's post. The singer said he would buy a yacht, which he misspelled, with the money.
"50.. make sure these niggas get our money right!" Brown wrote. "WE ONE BUY A YAGHT AFTER THIS."
An actual boxing match between Soulja Boy and Chris Brown seems like a ridiculous and fitting way for this beef to really end -- even though Soulja already apologized. One can only hope that it actually happens.
